About this fundraising

Our story - Jake and I shared nearly 10 years together, building a life filled with love, laughter, and our greatest blessing—our son, Waylon, who is now 3 years old. Jake adored being a dad and was so incredibly thankful for the family we built together.

Just six months after our wedding, Jake was diagnosed with glioblastoma. For four years, he fought with incredible strength, courage, and determination. On September 17, 2025, we lost Jake, but we will never lose the love, memories, and legacy he left behind.

We are running this half marathon in Jake’s honor—to carry his name, share his story, and raise awareness for glioblastoma. Every mile is for Jake, for Waylon, and for all the families fighting this devastating disease. 💙
