Make Kenlee McConnell Homecoming Queen
& Help End Glioblastoma

Why Your Support Matters
Kenlee McConnell is a senior at Maryville High School and is running for Homecoming Queen at Maryville City Schools, this Homecoming tradition is about much more than a crown.
Each Homecoming candidate chooses a charity to support, and the candidate who raises the most money for her chosen organization is crowned Homecoming Queen.
When Kenlee had the opportunity to choose her cause, she chose the Glioblastoma Research Organization.
And for Kenlee, that choice is personal.
Kenlee knew and loved Karen Schito, longtime Maryville City Schools principal of Foothills Elementary School, who passed away from glioblastoma in October 2024.
Their connection goes back years. When Karen first came to Maryville City Schools, Kenlee was in third grade and was one of Karen’s students. Kenlee has also grown up alongside Karen’s youngest son, Gabe, attending school together since fourth grade.
So when Kenlee was given the opportunity to turn her Homecoming campaign into something that could make a difference, she chose to help fight the disease that took someone who had made a difference in her own life.
For two weeks, our school and community have an opportunity to rally around Kenlee and turn a Homecoming tradition into something much bigger.
Every donation made through this page will go directly to the Glioblastoma Research Organization and its mission to fund research and help change the future for patients and families facing this devastating disease.
We want to raise money.
We want to raise awareness.
We want to help find better treatments and ultimately a cure.
And yes…
We want to make Kenlee McConnell Homecoming Queen!
