I have decided to run the Paris half marathon in honor of my mom
who passed away from Glioblastoma brain cancer on May 8th 2025.
My mom absolutely loved long walks outside or jogging on her treadmill.
After my mom’s first brain surgery she was left paralyzed on her entire
left side body. Despite the odds, she relearned how to walk, and eventually
made it back on the treadmill. She would be so proud to know that I am
training on HER treadmill for this half marathon, and that I am raising
funds for research to cure this horrible disease. She would also be so happy to
know I'm going back to Paris, a city she loved so much!
