RIDE THE WAVE FOR GLIOBLASTOMA
Fundraiser in memory of
Bryan Landaas and William "Skip" Jacoby
About Our Event
This casual fundraiser began as a way to honor Bryan’s memory, and this year Skip’s family has joined in to help raise awareness for glioblastoma. Each year, the event takes place on Mandy and Bryan’s wedding anniversary, making it especially meaningful. We’d love for anyone interested to join us in support of a great cause.
Proceeds from East Bower, along with additional ways to contribute at the event, will benefit The Glioblastoma Research Organization.
Hosted by Mandy & Kristen
When: Saturday, October 25
Time: 5 PM
Where: East Bower Cidery / 2020 Progress Court, Raleigh
Who: Everyone (Kid and Dog Friendly!)
Why: Because it’s an aggressive cancer where the average
prognosis is 12-15 months and no improvements in survival rates
have been made in the last 3 decades, despite medical advances.
The Glioblastoma Research Organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization raising awareness and funds for new, global, cutting-edge research to find a cure for glioblastoma. The organization was established in 2018 and, to date, has provided support to doctors and researchers through thirteen fully funded projects at leading cancer centers. 100% of the proceeds will go to this organization and directly support new glioblastoma research initiatives.
