On November 22nd, I will be running the Philly Half Marathon. I am dedicating this race to my Warrior dad who courageously battled Glioblastoma until he lost his battle on August 9, 2022. Glioblastoma is an aggressive form of brain cancer that accounts for approximately 50 percent of all primary malignant brain tumors. There is still no cure for GBM.
RUN FOR GBM WARRIORS
My dad’s strength and positivity inspires me daily. When given the chance to honor him by running to raise funds for GBM research, I knew it was the perfect way to bring hope and awareness. Running has always given me strength in hard times, and now I’m channeling it into something bigger—in memory of my warrior dad and for all GBM warriors. By donating, sharing, or encouraging, together we can make a difference and move closer to a cure.
